PES 2010 Improvements
63
PES 2010 is the new game in the Pro Evolution Soccer series by Konami. The new game is looking to improve quite a bit from the previous version as more people were converting from PES fans to Fifa fans as the Fifa game seemed much better in the last couple of years. Everybody says that the best PES was PES 6 and they kept saying they wanted the same gameplay back. PES has always been known for its arcade like gameplay which has been somewhat better than Fifa's, but in the last couple of years Fifa have stepped up to the plate and given us a game that has the same great graphics but also they have improved their gameplay which has made gamers change their mind about which game they prefer to play.
Improvements In PES 2010
The graphics are going to be improved somewhat in the new game and offer a more cleaner looking next generation game, complete with fully implemented facial expressions, individual skin textures and different weaves for the various kits to mimic the breathable material used. PES 2010 is going to include better lighting and more individual player skills. Crowd reactions and commentary have also been reworked with a stronger emphasis on fans responding to events on the pitch and their will also be a difference in crowd support between home and away matches. The AI has been reworked with the Teamvision 2.0 being implemented which will encourage midfielders and attackers to actively close down space and provide cover for defenders. The AI will also provide more options when attacking from a free kick. A new power gauge system will allow gamers to tweak tactics such as pass frequency, movement, and line of defence. Konami is promising that this year's PES will mark a return to the series' simulation roots.
The player chosen for the front cover is Lionel Messi
