Poem - The Anchor... after Nesrin Eruysal
63and the anchor called...
follow me
tempted I moved to the edge......
familiar territory...
a dark sea foreboding
a calm blue water inviting
the ongoing dichotomy
the Y of my life, my death
floating there, beckoning
I descend, down, into a new realm
above the vague shapes of a past life, fragments, fading,
in this chosen death I am slave and master
face to face with a past and a beginning
another easy way out, oh to jump again...
into the swirling blue of tomorrow,
tomorrow....

Xtasis, thanks, I suppose because I have never studied writing I have developed my own style.. I have over 1000 poems now and so perhaps like a sword you gain more control over it the more you wield it... but always it is lovely to go back and make some little change, make a line or a word that little bit better.. Thank very much Drax.. :-)
I'm very interested in your writing. I think it's unique. I'll be back for reading more . I see you have a lot of hubs ! :)
thank you Xtasis, I'm glad that you like them...
