Why is there always red

or something has to be said

tell me what is the point

in always being at wits end

over and over again

tell me whats the point

there's so much tension here

is it pain or fear

tell me whats the point

trying to find out

what its all about

just tell me whats the point

In learning about the truth

in what there is in you

tell me whats the point

I put out the fire

for you to grab a lighter

tell me whats the point

I know it's a shame

to hear all my pain

now tell me whats the point

And so the story goes

Well, Nobody knows

So tell me whats the point
