Manifest Your Desires; Get Motivated
62You can manifest your desires provided you get motivated enough to do so. Surely, you must have caught yourself, time and again, simply unable to get things done. Deadlines stare you in the face, the pile on your table grows, and you are aware of a mental paralysis, a feeling of despair, and a longing to do nothing; just get away from it all. Unfortunately, we cannot indulge in the luxury of ‘doing nothing' if we want to manifest our dreams. So, how do we get rid of this lackadaisical feeling?
Apply force: Yes, force is one of the ways to get motivated! Just force yourself to do what you have been putting off all these days. A sense of achievement creeps into your being after sometime, giving you enough fuel of motivation to get the entire task done.
Be calm: Force does not work with everyone. Many of us are just overwhelmed with the mile-long to-do list in front of us, and our minds are full of anxious thoughts. If you are one of those, it is high time you take it easy. Be still! Switch off disturbing elements, such as the mobile, television, phone, radio, and so on. Sit in a relaxed position, and focus on your breathing. A few minutes of this everyday can work wonders in your life.
Find different ways of doing things: Are you fed up with the sheer monotony of your life? Put your creative power in top gear and discover new ways of doing the same thing. Or just do something different for a change. This can motivate you while enabling you to exercise your creative muscles.
Eat wisely and exercise daily: Lack of motivation is often the result of wrong eating habits and lack of physical activity. Revise your meal plans and include more fresh fruits and vegetables into your diet. Grab some fresh air and exercise daily. Take the dog for a walk. Visit the gym. Go jogging. In other words, do anything to get moving. Sometimes, inspiration bursts in when you are in the midst of some physical activity.
Take a break: Do not let the humdrum of daily living torture you. Once in a while, get away from it. Plan a vacation with your loved ones. You will feel more motivated to dig into your usual work after your return.
Listen to music: For most of us, music is the greatest source of inspiration. Studies show that classical music can take people to a level of peak performance. Try music; it might turn out to be your number one motivator.
Read success stories: Make a collection of success stories and read them whenever lack of motivation dampens your spirits. Success stories and even the company of highly motivated, energetic, and successful people can awaken the dormant energy in you.
Love life: Ask yourself if you really love life and enjoy living? If the answer is no, it is high time to do something about it. Enjoy the little things in life, such as the taste of your favorite dish, the sight of a butterfly fluttering over a flower in your garden, the laughter of your children, the gentle breeze on your cheeks, and so on. Focus on the small things, and just for once, forget those things that might make you happy if only you had them. You will find that this makes a whale of a difference in your life.
Form a motivation squad: Get together with a trusted friend or two. You could set your life goals together and help one another achieve it by being accountable to one another. You will find yourself getting better motivated to achieve your goals if you have a friend, who enquires after you.
As you proceed with these steps, keep affirming to yourself that you are a success. Write your affirmations and a few motivation quotes. Stick them in easily seen places in your house. Remember that motivation is the force that makes all achievement possible.

I like your tips, except that I cannot quite agree with "applying force". It is better to first determine why we have certain desires and use this purpose to motivate us to start taking action. When we "apply force", we are acting out of a negative emotion. When we do it through understanding, we are acting out of a positive emotion.
