Ok so you are here because you are an entrepreneur, looking for new ideas, curious about the "opposition", or looking for Private Label Product sources!! :)

Can I ask you a question? Are you or have you been an affiliate for an internet programme? I don't mean MLMs or pyramid schemes, I mean having an affiliate licence to sell somone else's stuff. I think most of us, who have been here for any while, have done this. It's a great way to start - no web site to create, no products to store and ship, no overheads of any note - the only worry being how to direct traffic to our affiliate link, right?

Ok, now you are at the foot of the table, what if you could have a master licence, so that you could recruit affiliates to market the product for you? Isn't that a great idea? How many of you have master licences? I see that there are a few less who said yes to this, than did before.

Once you have the master licence, you can recruit affiliates at the point of sale. So, you do exactly the same marketing, as you would to get buyers to your affiliate web site link. All you do is offer an affiliate scheme to the buyer, so they can buy a resell licence from you (the affiliate licence). This can easily double your profit, right? The resell licence usually sells at between 3 and 10 times the product price; it depends on what the product is. The more in demand, the higher value, the bigger the ration. Oh yes, the other thing. You get to keep 100% of all direct sales you make! Cool! :)

For anyone new to this, the resell licence (affiliate programme) will usually give you between 50% and 75% in commission for each sale. This is why it is such a good way to start out - a good return for little down, just time spent in generating sales.

Master licences are also called Gold licences. Platinum are also called Private Label Rights.

Platinum rights mean you can sell master licences, resell licences, and also, the product itself and keep 100% of the profit from your direct sales!! If you have a platinum licence, you get to recruit at the point of sale - you can offer the product alone, an affiliate programme, and also a master/gold licence so that the buyer can recruit affiliates for themself You can sell as many gold and silver (resell) licences that you want. The price of platinum licences can vary up to 10 times the price of a gold licence.

An example:

• Product = £17.00
  
• Silver/resell licence = Free; keep 50 - 75% of the sale
• Gold/master licence = £170 recruit affiliates to sell for you; keep 100% of your own sales
• Platinum/Private Label Rights = £1700 and sell as many gold licences as you like; keep 100% of your own sales

Most folk will see that if you can get your hands on private label/platinum rights, for a niche market, you can make a lot of money :)

Where to find them...? These can be found with most internet search engines. But, a lot of people are yet to discover what they are and where they can get them. Information is king, on the internet, as I am sure most of you would agree.

Do I have private label rights to any products? Sure I do!! I also have some Gold and Silver rights also. We gather them as we move up the chain, so to speak.

The other added advantage to the Private Label Right (Platinum) licence is that in most cases you can

• rename the product, claim authorship
• rewrite or amend the content
• use the content to create a unique product of your own

You will need to create your hot selling (web site) letter - you know the sort I mean, the one that goes on and on and on... hey - don't knock it - they actually work!! Ah, but I can't write a sales letter, I hear you say... no problem!! You don't have to!! I know of great software that takes a little input from you and then writes the sales letter for you!! How cool is that? :)

So, now you have your Gold or Platinum licence, you've made your hot sales letter, you have the information product ready to deliver, all that remains is to get traffic to your site. I would think that most of you know the techniques for this, but, if anyone would like to add a hub about traffic generation, I'll do that as well.
