The problem with control big knickers and tight panties
58Sometimes when a woman wants a flat stomach, she may use big knickers which are designed to 'hold it all in' and give her the appearance of having a flat tummy. While these control knickers or panties may give you that much desired and enviable shape, they may also put you at risk of indigestion and abdominal pain. The movie Bridget Jones and other similar films have made these types of pants and underwear very popular.
But health professionals have warned that using control knickers regularly can lead to trapped wind, bloating and indigestion. They can be quite uncomfortable too. The panties put a lot of pressure on the abdomen and therefore push or force the contents of the tummy upwards towards the gullet. Wearing clothing that's too tight in this area of the body causes health problems which may require treatment for dyspepsia and other digestive health issues.
In view of the health risks associated with wearing tight panties, it's a good idea to consider your motivation for doing it. If you just want to get a better figure and flatten your belly, there are other better ways to do it. Consider getting yourself on a good fat loss program that is also designed to take care of your tummy.
There are some free ebooks you can download here.
When shopping for knickers have your stride measured from the front of your waist, under your crotch and up to the back of your waist. Also have your hips measured as well. Choosing knickers that are based on your measurements will ensure that you get a good fit. To find out if they fit properly, try bending, walking and sitting in them. They should be snug without pinching.
Remember even though wearing big knickers will hold you in and give the appearance of an excellent figure, they may have the less attractive side effects of indigestion and abdominal pain. Regular use is therefore not recommended. If you’re doing it because you are obese or overweight, try to lose weight instead.

I do prefer to wear a corset for a perfect figure, not only they give and overall smooth hourglass figure, but they are very sensual to see and wear. Big control pants can be a passion killer, while a corset is a passion igniter!
