The Proform 450 Elliptical Buyers Guide
1The Proform 450 Elliptical Buyers Guide
The ProForm 450 Elliptical is an interesting little machine. Perhaps the most interesting thing about it is its price -- if you buy direct from ProForm, you can purchase it for under $400. Of course, have you ever really found an elliptical for under $400 that wasn't a piece of junk? Sometimes you get lucky. Does the ProForm 450 Elliptical deliver far beyond its small price tag?
Not really. Although it has a decent set of features -- silent magnetic resistance, various personal trainer workouts, a heart rate monitor, workout fan, Digital resistance, target pacing and more -- it is not built for prolonged use. Although there are parts of its constructions which are appealing -- for example, it is less than 4 inches wide, making it very easy to store -- it is economically designed. How else do you think they would be able to offer it to you for less than $400 and still make a profit? the fact is I would guess that over 90% of the material found on this machine is plastic.Besides not holding up under prolonged use, it also has problems when using it even moderately. I don't know about you, but I hate ellipticals with a small stride range. I just don't get a good workout from them. Well, out of all the ellipticals I have used, perhaps the one with the small stride is the ProForm 450 Elliptical.for the rest of the article, visit ProForm 450 Elliptical ReviewPrintShare it! — Rate it: up down [flag this hub]
