90 days of telephone support (up to one phone call; additional calls require a fee)
Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover batteries, cosmetic and water damage, changes made to the phone by the user, or if the phone has been opened.
Extended Warranty

The warranty can be extended to include full hardware and phone support coverage for two years by purchase an AppleCare protection plan extended warranty.

AppleCare can be added to a product's warranty at any time before the original warranty expires

When I bought my iphone I purchased the warranty Best Buy offered. The associate told me it would cover the phone if I dropped it or broke the screen etc(accidental damage). However after looking at the terms and conditions it seems the opposite. Does anybody have any clarification on this and know if it is in writing somewhere?.
