The buying process is relatively easy, to put in basic terms,if your'e not a Bulgarian national, you cannot buy property with land, so to get around this you form a limited company and make yourself the company director,it costs around 600euro's and takes around 4 weeks to complete. This may seem a little confusing especially with the language barrier, I would recommend that first of all you go on an organised veiwing trip with a company that someone has recommended,and there are plenty of brits over in Bulgaria that would give you some advice or contact details, I also know some people and you can always email me. Once you are on your veiwing trip the company that you have gone with will take you through all what is to happen once youv'e picked your property and translate everything for you. Your solicitor will check that all the people that are selling the property sign to say this before the purchase goes ahead.Once you have returned to the uk if you have any worries just email the company you are dealing with so you are kept informed, I have met quite a few Brits over there and have not heard anyone say they have had problems with this process,Iv'e heard other complaints which I will tell you about in another hub.
