She was earlier anchoring in another Asianet programme called Saahasikante Lokam.
When you are anchoring a show in Malayalam, and particularly when the core theme of the show is closely related to the traditional arts of the region, one major quality that you got to have is to speak in Malayalam. If the program Idea Star Singer was to promote Rock Music talents.
She has oodles of attitude, the kind of person people love to love and love to hate even more. Ranjini Haridas is quite matter-of-fact, “I don’t care.
Sadly she is not fit for the Malayalam channels or the average Malayalee audience. Unless she can communicate with the audience at 'their' level, she is just not right! The Malayalam television, media and film industry has to mature more and stop imitating other channels and programs.Would this Ranjini be even given a second look if she knocks on MTV or any other leading music channel's door with her 'sick accent', Channel V walked on fire by letting her anchor a show, ‘When love bites’. She says she has left the show because she is now committed to ‘Idea Star Singer.’? I really doubt that! Given a choice between being a part of an international music channel and being an host in a regional channel which one would you prefer?? I strongly believe she was thrown out for lack of popularity from V. She is just a sad case of "Mooku illa rajyathu murimookan rakjni".
People dont forget their mother tongue in such small period of time, and if indeed she has forgotten she ought to be ashamed and just clean out of Kerala!! True and natural talent will speak for itself time and again.. sadly this female is just show off!!
