Isn’t it ironic that many intelligent men are not that successful in dating women compared to those dumb jocks?

While being above average gives you an advantage in different aspects of life, it is a big stumbling block in sex and relationships.

1. Being too logical

Many intelligent guys are used to being right most of the time. So if they come across a situation where they are wrong they will find a new situation to fit their skills to avoid being wrong again.

Unfortunately, being wrong about dating and women in particular can be really costly because there’s nowhere to hide and run. There’s o quick fix to make them feel better.

When smart guys are wrong the only solution they know is to think harder. Over analyze everything hoping that logic will soon solve the problem. Sadly, women and dating is not 100% logic at all.

2. Arrogance

Smart men find it hard to accept even the most effective solution from someone who might appear dumber than them. This mindset pushes them to reject any idea coming from someone not within their IQ level. When I say seemingly “dumber” guys I mean those alpha male jocks or typical bad boys wearing black leather jacket.

This situation can be likened to choosing a tour guide in the wilderness of Africa. Will you choose the most intelligent dude or a local African who grew up hunting and evading from wild animals? I guess the answer is very obvious.

The same concept applies to dating and women. The best guides need not be very intelligent. Instead, he should be someone who’s very dedicated to the art of picking up women.

3. Lack of Social Skills

There are so many smart guys out there who don’t have social skills and devoid of the elusive “coolness”. Social skills can only be developed through practice. It’s not 100% theories and thinking. Action is essential in learning this very valuable skill.

Here’s the equation: zero social skills means zero chance with women. It’s that simple.
