Start Now

Are the good times gone? Are we going to starve to death? I would say Yes and No. Money makes the world go round and the money is stuck somewhere in the banks for now. How will it shake out, your guess is as good as mine.

This leaves us with what do we do now. A situation that most people have not had to face in this country for a while now. Lets list a few items we can use to prepare for during a recession.

  1. Foods - stock up on nonperishable foods, canned foods, dry milk, sugar, flour, rice and beans.
  2. Water - a supply of bottled water.
  3. Personal Items - soap, shampoo, toothpaste, insect repellent, candles.
  4. Cash - there are always predictions of system failures or attacks on credit card systems. It could be rare, but I guess it is possible, so in the case of a system failure Atm's, credit cards, anything requiring a connection would be useless. It wouldn't hurt to have a little cash on hand since we are a plastic society.

These are just a few items that we can prepare ourselves with in case the situation becomes worse. It is always good to think ahead when we enter uncertain times.

This is not to scare anyone, but to alert you to the possibilities that a situation like we have in our economy could produce.

These are events that you and I have no control over, but we can prepare in certain areas. In the past these have been times of opportunity if you not feared to take the chance.

We are subjected to both extremes during times like this, you will have the end of the world-ers and you will have the nothing has changed group. The answer always is somewhere in between and reasonable preparedness seems to be the right thing to do.

We have prepared 4 more pages of Tips and information just.....
