89Reema Sen is one of my favorite actresses. Reema Sen is very sensuous and sexy, but not vulgar. She carries the glamour oomph with grace and poise. Reema Sen is born to a middle class family in Kolkata in 29 October. After her schooling, the family moved to Mumbai.
Once in Mumbai, Reem Sen started her career in modeling world. She appeared in several reputed advertisements. But her aim was to do films. She got her first break in a Telugu movie CHITRAM, a small budget movie with actor Uday Kiran. Released in 2000, the movie didn’t get her enough reorganization. She got noticed in her first Tamil movie “Minnale” in 2001. It was super hit of 2001 and she even bag FilmFare award for best debutant actress in Tamil. I still like the song of Minnale which is very intense and very glamorous one!
But she did not hit the top leagues of the heroines in south India. Still she very popular down south India! She did couple of Hindi movies as well, but success still evades her. In Tamil she has given several successful movies like RENDU with R. Madhavan, Vallavan and Thimiru. All of them very successful and had good box office run.
Her forthcoming movie titled “AAYIRATHIL ORUVAN”. She has big role in this movie.The movie is directed by Selvaraghavan. Ravendran is producing the movie. Karthik Sivakumar is leading man with Reema Sen. Parthiban has cameo role this movie. The budget of the movie was originally slotted to be 15 crores Rupees (150 Million Indian Rupees) is now 32 Crores (320 Millions) Rupees. Sun TV network has bought the rights at a undisclosed whopping price.
Recently the audience was released with much funfare in June 2009. The movie was in making for over two years now.
