Reighton Sands is one of Haven Holidays top Caravan Parks. Located near Filey and situated with magnificent views atop the cliffs overlooking the bay.

Get there By Car: Reighton Sands Holiday Park is on the A165 between Bridlington and Filey approximately 5 miles south of Filey. Postcode: YO14 9SH.

Get there By Train/Bus: The nearest train and bus station is located in Filey, which about 5 miles from the Park.



So What is Reighton Sands

The Haven Holiday Park, Reighton Sands, stands atop the cliffs and overlooks miles of Sandy beach that ranges from Speeton to Filey on the North East Coast of England. It remains open from March 2 to November 20th. The Park itself offers direct access to the beach via a steep walkway and it is ideal for surfing, games or simply relaxing with the family.

Filey, the nearest town to Reighton Sands, offers a couple of alternatives for how to pass your time there; you can sit back on the beach and take in the breathtaking views from the clifftops on which the town is built or you can go exploring the beaches and coves along the 5 mile stretch of sandy beach that stretches from Filey Brigg to the Chalk Cliffs of Speeton.

Since Reighton Sands is a Haven Holiday Park you can expect there to be a tremendous variety of on site activities and all-weather sporting events and clubs to keep even the most active families satisfied.

Play soccer or rounders, exercise your skill with the bow and arrow or impress your family with your swordsmanship in the fencing club, there’s always something to inspire children and adults!

There are three separate kids clubs at all Haven holiday sites, catering for kids from tots to teens, so if you want to get rid of the little horrors for a while then you know where to send them....

Once you have tired of the exertions of the sports and SplashZone activivities then you can always enjoy some of the onsite entertainment, laid on especially for you stay.

Out and About

Whitby

Whitby isn't far away and is a fascinating little fishing town that boasts the dubious honour of being the the place where Count Dracula first set foot on these shores before travelling to London. Alternatively count the steps up to the clifftop Abbey, said to have been Bram Stoker's inspiration for his blood sucking tale, and educate yourself with the audio tour of this classical structure.

Yorkshire Moors

The Yorkshire moors, at once beautiful and brooding, Reighton Sands has these famous moors on its doorstep - a national park with miles of rolling landscapes, wildlife and home of the famous fictional vet James Herriot. This is James Herriot country.

Flamingo Land Zoo

If you've got kids the you'll want to take them to Flamingo Land, if not for the 100+ rides then the Zoo which is home to a exotic species from all over the world, including Flamingos, un surprisingly. A single price for admission will give you access to all the rides, just make sure you avoid it on bank holidays because the queues can get a little long…
