GREEN-BLUE MAGICK OF RIVER ZRMANJA in Croatia, Dalmatia

River Zrmanja is one of the most beautiful rivers in Croatia: shining and crystal clear, which flows into part of Adriatic Sea which is called Karin and Novigrad See (I mentioned them in my previous Hub where I invited you on virtual travel to Croatia. Well, If you read this Hub, river Zrmanja is very nearby to places which I described there. (From river Zrmanja you also can see Mt. Velebit and Tulove grede, and like I said, it flows into the Karin Sea)
Yesterday, Dean (my boyfriend) and me started to explore magick of this river and we immediately fell in love with this extraordinary area.
This peacefull but so powerfull river honored us to see small part of its secrets...
We will come again here for sure, so expect new photos soon.

Geologists assume that in the era of 40000 years back to 8000 years ago there was strong erosion which resulted in the creation of todays Zrmanja bed.
River Zrmanja is flowing through the northern part of Dalmatia. It is not too long (64km), but in some parts has a rough water falls, cascades, rapids. That`s why is great for wild water sports, like rafting is. During the summer, one needs to use smaller kayaks and canooes for trip through this beautiful river. Upper flow of the river runs through the valley, than through the canyon. Canyon is one of the most beautiful in the Europe (I did not see it yet), but after we pass through the canyon, you will have new pics.
