Along the memory Lane @ Chittorgarh,Rajasthan

I have visited Rajasthan many times over for two reasons :

  • My wife is from Rajasthan, I have accompanied her several times to her  parent's place.
  • I had customers in Rajasthan and had to visit remote areas of this state.

This September visit to Chittorgarh's fort area was perhaps my 4th visit. Every time I go there,   its timeless charm overwhelms me.

This time, I was accompanied by my wife and her friend. To accommodate her compulsions, we started after light lunch  and took a break at Shaonlji's temple en route from Udaipur. We covered some of the temples after sunset and could not  join the son-et-lumiere programme, because my wife's friend suggested travelling late through the highway back to Udaipur would not be a good idea. This  was a disappointment..... and may be this would be a good reason for another visit to Chittorgarh in future.

Thanks for your encouraging comments.

We were handicapped during our afternoon out @ Chittorgarh because the sky was cloudy. We wd have got better results otherwise.
