Rock Band 2 was the highly anticipated sequel to the game that redefined garage band.  Rock Band allows you to play as singer, guitarist, bassist or drummer.  You can play solo or with a whole band; you can learn from the easiest level and work your way up to expert on each instrument.  There are a bunch of songs to choose from, too.  No matter what your musical taste, Rock Band 2 has something for everyone.

There are 84 songs on Rock Band 2, along with 20 downloadable songs available via online networks.  New songs are being uploaded all the time, and depending on your version, you may find certain songs more to your liking.  Like its predecessor, Rock Band 2 offers a wide variety of songs to choose from and play through which makes it a fun way to rock out.  When you couple that with the original Rock Band game, you have more than 150 songs to play.

Rock Band 2 adds on the drum peripheral to make it easier to use, along with more durable than the last version.  The pedal in particular is reinforced for longer use since it was more breakable before.  The new feature called Drum Trainer works you through how to actually use the drums to ensure you work your way up from beginner to expert.  This was one of the main complaints of the previous version where the drums frustrated gamers who just wanted to get better.

If you have not jumped on the Rock Band wagon, you might want to invest in it now.  You can purchase Rock Band 2 and the Rock Band original game, too, to get the best of both video games.  Rock Band 2 picks up where the original left off, and you will not be disappointed.  What are you waiting for?  Live out your rock star dreams with a video game that makes it happen!
