Runescap Solo Merchanting

Runescap Solo merchanting involves you investing in an item by yourself at your own discretion. Preferably, it should be an item that is rising =P. You buy an item on the rise and hold it until you deem it fit to sell. However, that is not always easy because it becomes diffcult to predict sometimes whether or not an item will rise or fall. Which is why you have runescap clan merchanting. Usually an item that is on the rise is hard to obtain however, there are a couple of tricks to help you get it faster than everyone else.

1. Buy the item you are interested in on all the available options for buying in the grand exchange. The picture above demonstrates this concept.

2. Always strive towards updating the price of the item first as soon as the grand exhange gets updated.

Public Merchanting Clan

Runescap Clan Merchanting

Runescap Clan merchanting involves you obviously being a member of a runescap merchanting clan first. Once you have established yourself as a runescap merchanting clan member, you will be told what item to buy. The clan will then buy the item from the grand exchange collectively until the supplies have been exhausted from the grand exchange. Once this occurs, every grand exchange update, the item will rise in value. It's that simple. However, you must be careful, the item will not rise for ever. One of the reasons for the item to fall in price is that the clan's buying capacity may be compromised. Consequently, the item's stock will be refreshed in the grand exchange resulting in the downfall of the price.

Most clans set a specific target price for the item. For instance, they may say that sell "x" item at "y" price. This is to ensure that the item will reach the designated price. Yet, again, this may not be the case, especially with a runescap public merchanting clan. Which is why you have private runescap merchanting clans.

Public Runescap Merchanting Clans

Public runescap merchanting clans are those types of clans that have an open clan chat where everyone is invited. Everyone has an opportunity to look at the item being merchanted and attempt towards an investment in that particular item. Some of the problems involved with runescap public merchanting clans are that for one, you are not allowed to speak. Only ranked members are allowed to speak in the clan chat. Secondly, the leaders of the clans purchase the item before releasing it thus increasing the diffculty level of the public obtaining the item. For obvious trust issues, some people revert to private runescap merchanting clans.

Private Runescap Merchanting

Private runescap merchanting clans are not open to the public therefore, they are cautoius of who joins there group. For this reason, there are usually set requirements that the members must meet in order to join the clan chat at the first place. Most of the requirements revolve around the amount of cash you are willing to invest for merchanting. One of the problems is that because private runescap merchanting clans have less people in comparison with public runescap merchanting clans, it becomes diffcult sometimes to raise the price of an item by exhausting its supplies in the grand exchange.

Nice Posting..

Items which are easily bought out are also good.

For Example Zamorak Brews, If you look at begining of 180 day curve it is just coming down from when it was close to 6k ea.

This was a item that was bought out at max for several weeks, then dumped.

This probably will happen again in the future, but who knows when, anyone with enough cash could buy this out as there is limited amounts in the game compared to any other potion (Torstol being rare.)..

With current escalating torstol prices the potions normally follow suit, because they are probably the most idea cost affective pot for 1 defence pures to use....

There is many other gems out there

Cheers
