Rust Removal From Cement

Lately I have been driving around the streets in my neighborhood and have been noticing these huge orange stains on the cement walls of the houses in the neighborhood. I didn't know what they are and what caused them but as I drove on I noticed almost every house had the same orange stains. I then thought that maybe I have these type of orange stains on the cement walls of my house so I immediately went home to check.

Sure enough, the cement walls of my home had the same ugly orange stains on the cement as well. I for one didn't know what this orange stuff was and didn't know what I could do to remove it.  The first thing I did was go online and check to see what I was dealing with.

I didn't even think that the orange stains were actually rust stains from the well water that my lawn sprinklers were using to water my lawn. My next task was to get some more information on rust removal from cement and to see how people would remove rust from the concrete walls of their homes.

I tried some rust removers that were straight acid and let me tell you that was a bad idea. First of all they didn't work. Second, they burned the heck out of my hands. Third, you have to wear a chemical mask so you don't inhale the toxic fumes. Now I understood why all the homes in the neighborhood had all these rust stains on them. No one knows the trick to rust removal from concrete yet. But I was determined to find out and I did!

I found tons of information on concrete rust removal and otherrust removal products online but still didn't know which ones would work. Since I had a bad experience using the acidic harsh chemical rust removers I decided that the rust removal products of choice would be all natural. I am not going to go through that mess again of using toxic chemicals again.

I ended up getting a natural concrete rust remover and was ready to put it to work on my task of rust removal from cement. All I did was follow the directions and spray it on the areas of the cement walls that had the round orange circles on it. I was thinking that I had to scrub the walls after I sprayed the concrete rust removal product on the wall so I picked up my scrubber.

I then looked at the cement wall and I couldn't believe what was happening. The concrete rust remover was removing the rust stains right in front of my eyes. I had to show my wife because she wouldn't believe me if I just told her what was happening. She came out and said" How did you get it done so fast?"

So anyways, to make a long story short. The best way to make rust removal from concrete an easier task is to make sure you have the best rust removal products on habd to use as a weapon.

Just because some concrete rust removers have straight acid in them doesn't mean they work better. Always think of a healthier way to clean things now since everyone is going green and by staying away from harsh cleaning chemicals you will not put any harm to yoursself and you family.
