To get a page ranking from Google is not going to happen over night, it is going to take a good deal of effort but the greatest secret of getting a good rank is getting back links to your site.

A back link is an incoming link from another site, a vote for your site, and the more relevant and high ranking the site sending the link is the more value it has for your site.

Way you can get links to your sites

• Buy one way links
• Submit your site to Directories
• Reciprocal links *Linking to irrelevant or low quality sites is useless.
• Writing quality content that other sites link to naturally.
• Writing articles for publication and including the back link with the keyword anchor text in the resources box.

The last method is the easiest to get started, once you have written your article, about 400 words will do, submit it to as many article directories as you can, a google search on the phrase article submission should give you enough to get started. As the article is taken up by e-zines and other publishers you will see the back links start to grow.
