According to Wikipedia, seduction "is the process of deliberately enticing a person to engage in some sort of behavior, frequently sexual in nature."

Knowing the typical male and the typical female we can use this definition to answer the question. And the expectable answer is: it depends.

Depending on the behavior you want to entice the person in, little or more seduction will be required.

For example, a woman's response to any request of sexual nature is quite physical: she gets a headache. You can't blame her for this, it's pure instinct. It's in the genes. For men this is, of course, completely different. The slightest hint in the direction of sex will get their pheromones in full throttle. So when it comes down to sex, the female definitely needs to be seduced in such a way that her primary reaction is avoided. A clever man achieves this by delusion. Under the cover of romance and intimacy he will steer her bodily constellation towards conception. It will then be her own body that will change her state of mind. Less subtle put: she'll get hot as hell.

Let's also observe a different example in which the man needs the seduction more than the woman does. Let's go shopping. This clearly is behavior to which a typical man is not inclined. Meaning that he will have to be seduced. As we all known, men are much more primitive in nature and their responses than women. Hence, the seduction has to take place at a level that the man understands and can cope with. Forget the subtle approach. Forget the elegant, sophisticated luring. It won't work. Nothing easier than seducing a man. Be clear, be outspoken and be specific: no sex if we don't go shopping!
