Many people are always asking if other Zazzle users are making money using the Zazzle Service, some even think that Zazzle is nothing more than a scam site.

I can tell you from my personal experience with Zazzle that you can make money selling your photos or digital artwork. As with any online marketing venture you need to get visitors to your Zazzle Gallery, you can accomplish this with a combination of promotion techniques.

First when creating your artwork do some keyword research to find the most appropriate keyword that will fit the description of your artwork. Include this keyword or phrase into a good description of 10 to 20 words, also include the keyword or phrase in your tags. To your tags also look at the hot tags that are being searched on Zazzle itself and include these among your own tags. You can find Zazzle tag link at the bottom of every gallery.

You can find free and low cost keyword research tools at my site webtools.moneymakercash.com, plus other web promotion related products you may find useful.

Second you must be active in the Zazzle Community, post to other member galleries as often as you can including some of your artwork in the post. This helps bring traffic your way when people land on other members galleries and see your post. At the same time you post are required in several places within Zazzle where your member name appears, any artwork you may have included in your post also appears. I know of to places where this information pops up in Zazzle, though this is momentary a few minutes at best it can help in generating traffic.

Advertise your postings on social networking sites like twitter; make the post interesting so that you can generate clicks. Create profiles on MySpace & Facebook with a targeted theme to drive the kind of people that will be interested on purchasing products based on your artwork.

Use classified ads that have a world wide reach since Zazzle will ship anywhere, I have found Kugli very good in this regard which garners me about 50 visitors per week for every keyword/phrase targeted post.

Use article posting sites like eZineArticles, Squidoo, Hubpages and eHow to get visitors. Use offline advertising, give away business cards that have samples of your artwork on them with your site link or Zazzle Gallery link on them. Submit you newly created product link to the search engines - Google, Yahoo, MSN...

Create mini posters of your artwork & gallery link and post them at high traffic areas in or around your neighborhood - the more eyeballs that are seeing your artwork the better your chances of getting visitors to your gallery.

Use the Zazzle Site Builder to create your own themed website to advertise your products away from Zazzle; take a look at my site xzendor7.com to see how I've done it. This also allows you to add other member galleries and other related products and advertising to further monetize you site. This is great because the site will auto-update every time a new product is created, bring the search engine robots frequently to your website.

I've had other Zazzle members tell me that they have had success using traffic exchanges. I have found that the traffic exchanges that work best for advertising products for sale are the text based exchanges. This I believe is due to the targeting that they employ and since people have to read the link and description before they click on it, they know what to expect when they get to your gallery or website.

I don't particularly care for PPC (Pay-Per-Click) Advertising any more because of the high cost involved, and since there are many other alternative & cost effective advertising resource available to marketers. Also PPC seems to work best if you have your own website.

Last but no less significant is you must create products on a consistent basis. The more designs you have available in your gallery the higher your chances of making a sale. A note of caution when placing your designs on products, make sure your design is suitable for the product. I've seen some members put designs on everything and sometimes it just doesn't look right. If you have to re-edit a design for a product do it, so what if you have 2, 3 or 4 different images of one design in your image section.

Another thing for shirts and mugs especially, if you design is not a photograph upload a PNG (Portable Network Graphics) image file. In most cases a square block image does not look good on a shirt, unless your background is white. Since a customer has the option of customizing their selection a PNG File will work best here as well as on the Frosted Glass Mugs.

Though there is a lot of worked involved in promoting your Zazzle artwork creation over the long haul you will make money from your efforts and maybe garner some large orders, I've had customers buy 50 and 100 units of mugs and key chains. I'm no working to see if I can replicate this success with my poster artwork since I have the largest royalty with these products.

To your Zazzle success and lots of Cash In The Bank
