Let's face it: Web 1.0 has been updated to Web 2.0 and website visitors that were little more than spectators are now creating web content. They are sharing experience, looking for classmates and are not likely to buy on sites where you wish to be noticed. And you need to accept these rules.

SEO concepts have been dramatically changed, though I think link building is still playing the key role. The difference is that traditional link building campaigns often involved asking for links or buying them. And now you have a great opportunity to get high quality, one way links from high traffic sites for FREE. All you need is to build relathionships instead of simply building links. I believe that search engines no longer lend any value whatsoever to links if you simply place links in your profiles on Myspace and Facebook. Hate to say, but these sites are no longer valuable for the purposes of marketing as it once was. Here are some sites that Google is indexing links on very quickly and you can really get great results from them:

• Linkedin - links out are live with your choice of anchor text as marked as "other" upon creation

This list is much longer, but even if you use only these sites, you will get absolutely amazing results. I would like to share with you a very effective and yet simple technique that doesn't requiere any specific skills. Here is what you need to do:

• create a "how-to" video where you explain how to use your product/service (whatever your business is) by using digital camera or through camtasia software (for more advanced users)
• submit this video to the main video sites: youtube, yahoo video, google video, Tip: you can use mass video uploader Traffic Geyzer or submit manually
• Post this video on your website/blog

• Bookmark these pages with your video on social networking sites: wagg.it, digg.com, propeller, stumbleupon
• check your rankings next morning and see MAGIC.

I guarantee that if you do all these steps, you will see great results whitin 24 hours! Below are my results: within 4 hours (!) I jumped for "free blog promotion" from 9 page to the first one!!!
