Suppose u have a folder named "abc" in D drive

if u want to hide the folder so that its not visible to anyone else even after enableing the "show hidden content " of the windows then all u need is to go to START button on the desktop and then click "RUN" and type "CMD" and enter then a commond screen will appear now the with the C drive as defult so to change the drive u need to open D drive,,,as like D:[enter]

D:_

now u need to type this and press enter

D:ATTRIB +h +s abc

to hide the folder and again if u want to access the file again then

u need to type this and press enter

D:ATTRIB -H -S abc

thus u can add and remove the hide property to the folder

note: u can only hide folders, u cannot hide other files untill u give the file name with the extention

ie if u want to hide a text doc file then u need to mention it as "file.txt" where "file" is the name of the text document and txt is the extention....

The subject doesn't say "hid folder" but "password on a folder without any software". So it's false !

Hiding a folder doesn't mean it is password protected ! So it's easy to find an hidden folder.
