Discussing to other people in regards to your sexual health can be intimidating although you are very aware that you need help. It is through this situation that you are doubtful about how others might see you but the fact is, you need to trust others to get the help that you need. Chlamydia
Chlamydia is the bacteria that causes chlamydia infection among humans. Most often this is categorized as sexually transmitted disease. The bacteria can cause several sexually transmitted diseases and also eye infections.
The bacteria in particular, chlamydia trachomatis can cause urethritis, proctitis (rectal disease and bleeding), trachoma, and infertility in both sexes. Meanwhile men may show symtoms of prostatitis and epididymitis and to women, cervicitis, pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), ectopic pregnancy, and acute or chronic pelvic pain are frequent complications.
Genital warts
While most warts can be harmless, warts can also be severe and nfectious. Genital warts fall under this category. Genital warts are caused by a certain type of Human Papillona Virus (HPV) and this can be transmitted sexually.
Genital warts are spread through skin to skin contact with an infected partner. This is regardless of the kind of sexual intercourse, whether anal, oral or genital.
Types 6 and 11 of the HPV are responsible for 90% of genital warts cases. This can vary from small warts and form clusters to spread at the penis or genital area.
Genital Herpes
Herpes simpex is the virus that cause the genital herpes. Herpes infection can be oral and genitalia. Orofacial herpes affects the facial and oral area of the infected person. On the otherhand, genital herpes affects the genitalia.
In men, the lesions occur on the shaft of the penis or other parts of the genital region, on the inner thigh, buttocks, or anus. In females, lesions appear on or near the pubis, labia, clitoris, vulva, buttocks or anus.
HIV - AIDS
HIV is a more popular term for Human immunodeficiency virus. This type of virus has been the most common reason and lead to Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome or AIDS. AIDS resulted from the weakening of the immune system of the person infected with HIV.
AIDS caused by HIV is a sexual health problem that can be trasmitted through sexual intercourse with the infected person, blood transfusion, prick of infected needle, breast milk and vertical transmission from an infected mother to her new born.
It is estimated that HIV infects 0.6% of the world's population with the majority of the incidents at sub-Saharan Africa.
Syphilis
Syphilis is a sexual health problem transmissible through direct contact with a syphilis sore. Sores occur mainly on the external genitals, vagina, anus, or in the rectum. Sores also can occur on the lips and in the mouth.Any activity determined with a contact is prone to the infection.
Syphilis is a sexually transmitted disease brought by the bacterium Treponema pallidum.
This disease have so many symptoms that sometimes it is thought to be otherwise.
