Haiku for R.B.

Immortal you are

though dreams die to born again

like yellow roses.

She can and she can’t

Stones, bricks and concrete, dead woods, metals embrace her;

it is an apartment with dusty cheap nameplates

where she searches, an address for her freedom.


>

The answering machine, after a shrill beep, whines;

with water kept running, she ignores messages.

A moon on the window dives amid high-rises.


>

The measures of freedom was being eaten by

the little fledglings who are chirping on the tree.

The tree is rooted to the city and lonely.


>

Voices like these sink in the sound of shower.

oh I really like that poem, you must have heard about my nosey nature, cant help wondering what triggered that poem off, whatever it was, it certainly made for good reading... looking forward to reading more and seeing you in the forums........
