Twitter and other microblogging hosting such as jaiku, plurk, microblogging, friendfeed, yammer, etc just facilitate the limited character every post. I often found a website with long URL like this:

The character is more than 200 (figure 1). Meanwhile twitter just provides 140 characters. With this condition, i cannot post the link in my twitter.

I was thinking to reduce the long link because when I had posted a link the link reduced automatically. I was confused with the change of link. Then I clicked the link and I find the page that I had put in my twitter. I was sure there is a way to reduce the link.

Ping fm also provide shorten URL too. I have tried post my update through ping fm. We can post so many word but they will cut the excess words.

Finally, I know how to shorten the URL address with some website. We just copy the URL and then convert it. The best website is tinyurl.com. It could minimize 25 characters. Certainly, It make me happy. I will post so many links with shorten URL.

The weakness of shorten URL is you should open the website. I have yet found any web which can plug to our twitter.Someday I will find the plugin and inform to you.
