Do you remember the Sit N Spin and the Sit N Bounce from the 70's and 80's. I used to love those toys. I also had a love affair with everything television. I'm having a nostalgic moment here. See if you remember any of these commericals, toys and t.v shows. (Mind you, I was born in 1970).

I still feel bad about the last episode of Davey and Goliath when the Dad joined a Satanic cult and sacrificed that poor little dog :(

Jeezum Crow! I remember some of these commercials because they carried over from the 70's (I grew up in the 80's). Back then, only the "rich" people had cable as it was rare to have then. On Sunday, I remember that the only thing suitable for kids was "Davey and Goliath." Goliath's voice was to me annoying though: "Hiiiii Daveeeeey..."

When I was a "kid" 13 or 14 I found a sit and bounce in a Toys 'r Us and bounced all over the store. I remember most of the toys here. Thanks for reminding me.

We were much easier to please back then weren't we? I just can't imagine our kids being happy with much of this stuff now that they have all the new technology available. Shame really, I had loads of fun building my own go cart, a tree house or two and generally having to make my own entertainment.

Well I suppose my kids could relate to these, I have my own from a bygone era preceding yours.

r burow-your very welcome. sorry i left out the Capt. I was an avid fan too.

dohn121-ha ha! his voice was quite annoying.

wesleycox-i can remember doing that too!

Brian s-I agree. It would take alot to entertain kids now a days. Silly putty would probably put them to sleep.

ralwus-i could imagine the great toys you got to play with.

Oooh! Thanks for the memories?

I hate to admiti it, but my first computer classes were taught on Radio Shack TRS-80's, and I was learning Basic Language, and saving my programs to cassette tapes. That is, when we were not playing Star Trek games on the teletype machine.

What great tickets you offer us for rides down memory lane. The destinations are familiar in a vague way, but revisiting them makes it all fresh again. superb hub~MFB III

These are great! I had not one, but TWO Light Brights as a kid! Best toy ever. It was like your very own tv set but with only one show that was permanently on pause.
