The Silpada Jewelry Story
Bonnie Kelly and Teresa Walsh had tried a few business ideas, looking for ways to make some extra cash. One day, they tried making jewelry and selling their creations at in home jewelry parties. This idea turned out to be a winner.
In 1997, after six years of selling at hundreds of parties, they decided to make it official and started the Silpada Designs jewelry company.
Today, thousands of independent Silpada sales reps sell Silpada jewelry.
Like many other successful home-brew entrepreneurs, Bonnie and Teresa have a fantastic attitude about life and business. They say, "Our story goes to show that with a little passion and a sincere desire to help others, anything is possible."
