I'm fairly new to the Text Ad Exchange scene, but let me tell you...what I have found I am lovin'! I belong to a dozen TAE's. I get about 100 or so emails a day filtered strait to special folder so it doesn't clog up my inbox and I just click all of those and build up my points at each one. I use those points to purchase banner impressions, solo's, traffic links, etc.

This has been the easiest and cheapest way for me to get some good advertising to some of the different programs I work with online. The TAE's i have listed below are the ones that have been the most responsive for me in terms of people actually taking the time to read the ads and look at what I have to offer them.

What to do when joining a TAE:

#1 - Always check the main page for promo codes! These can get you free advertsing and sometimes free upgrades.

#2 - Check the membership. I like joining TAE's when they aren't so huge, most people are getting a bizzillion ads a day (like under 2500 members). Even if the membership goes above that, if it's a good TAE and you are getting good exposure, keep with it.

#3 - Keep building your points to purchase your advertising. You can join almost every TAE out there free, earn free points, thus getting free advertising. If you want more options, most offer upgrades for reasonable prices, but watch out...some are MONTHLY prices for the upgrades.
