Skateboard trucks
The tuck is the medal part your wheels hook on to. Its important to get the type that best fits your style of skateboarding.
Truck height
Trucks come in three different hieghts. Low, midium, and high. Low trucks give you more stability and quicker flip tricks. They also go well with smaller wheels. Higher trucks allow you to use bigger wheels for a little bit more speed, you can roll a little farther to, and more bigger wheels make it easier to go over rougher roads. Midium trucks are(beleive it or not)between low trucks and hih trucks. Most skaters choose low trucks for street skating.
Bushings
Bushings are that rubber thing towards the top of the truck(its that green thing under the bolt in the picture to the right). It can be removed and replaced to customize your board depending on how much control you want over your board. The harder the bushing is, the more stable and stiffer your turning will be.You will also have more control while doing tricks and going fast. While softer bushings will help you have a looser, faster turning skateboard. Soft bushings are usually more for people who like to carve. Most skaters choose Medium bushings. Most trucks come with the medium bushings already on them.
Axle
The axle is the part of the truck that the wheels go on(the things sticking out of the sides in the picture to the right). You want tip of your axles to be about a quarter inch from the edge of the deck. If you axles are past that your wheels might be sticking out from under your deck.
Fury trucks
Fury tucks are very strong, heavy duty trucks. Fury trucks has tons of different truck series that all offer different special features.
Phantom trucks
Phantom trucks are nice light weight trucks, that are good for grinding. But on thing that makes Phantom's trucks different than most other trucks or that they put rubber on the bottom of the truck, to absorb some of the shock to help reduce stress to your deck and your feet!
Tensor trucks
Tensor turcks are one of the best skateboarding trucks on the market! They were even designed by the pioneer of skateboarding himself, Rodney Mullen! They come in Medium and low sizes.
Destructo trucks
Destructo has some of the coolest truck designs ever! They use tons of awesome colors and patterns. Their trucks are also very good for skateboarding.
Grind King trucks
Grind King has the best trucks for grinding! Their trucks are made out of aluminum, so they are very light, and well give you a much smoother grind. But since they are made from aluminum the trucks are a little bit softer and weaker, so if you like to grind you may have to replace them more than usual.
