I have been playing WoW for over 2 1/2 years now and it is still as addicting to me as it was at the beginning. One thing you really need in World of Warcraft to be able to buy the best gear and all the mounts until and at Level 70 is - of course - Gold.

So how do you get the most Gold, without farming for hours and hours?

This is how you make Gold in WoW - not by Farming, but in the Auction House

Killing Mobs is your primary Gold making strategy? Forget about this.

What you need to do is the following:

Download the Auctioneer AddOn for Free (feel free to donate to them though), as you will be using the Auction House to make your Gold.

Below you find a You Tube Video on how to install an Addon, if you have never done so.

Now you start scanning the Auction House with the Auctioneer Addon at least once a day for a week. With this you build up some Market Price data. When you have done this for a week it will be enough to do a complete Auction House Scan two or three times weekly (feel free to scan more often if you want).

Now that you have your Market Price Data, you are ready to start.

What you want to do is buy low and sell high, of course. The search funtionality in Auctioneer is your deal finder. As an example you might want to filter on something you make at least 1g profit. You run the search and find two stacks of Runecloth for 80s. You can relist those for lets say 2g 50s (just below the average sales price) and boom, you have made more then 1g 50s within a few seconds! That's the beauty of it - and it is just the tip of the iceberg of what the Auctioneer is capable of.
