Soda Fans Don't Have to Waste So Much Plastic

Are you addicted to soad or sparkling water, but loathe the quantity of plastic and glass bottles that fill your reclycling bin each week?

Now I don't really drink flavored soda, diet or otherwise, but my family is totally addicted to sparkling water. I don't know what it is; it just makes by belly feel better, it seems more thirst quenching, is seems a little more special than still water, and the kids will drink more of it than still.

But oh my goodness, the amount of bottles --and trips to the market when we ran out-- it was just insane! Not only did we use unnecessary packaging, we used resources for our own trips to the market, (and for the distribution of the product in the first place), contributed to the environmental waste which inevidibly is caused by the packaging plants, and ... well, the consumer waste list is endless! Wow, what eco-guilt I had!

Then I found the Soda-Club Home Soda Makers because my cousin had one.

Now we never run out, and waste practically NOTHING! Carbonating bottles are reusable up to three years - no more empty bottles and cans to dispose or recycle. No batteries or electricity. And even though we just make sparkling water, there is also a choice or over 25 soda flavors - regular, diet and caffeine-free.

I think it is a true green find! Check it out: Soda Club

Just click the link above, it should take you straight to the site! There are 3 models, we have the mid-priced one which retails in the $70 range. I figure we recouped the cost within two months. We really love it!

It's great - we are having a lovely, warm day today with lots of sunshine ad blue skies. It's even better since the Chargers won today!!!

This is totally cool! I must get one! I have such a bad habit of drinking diet soda because plain water is so.... plain. Not to mention less trips to the recycling bin (my hubby will be happy with more room in the garage!) Thanks! Steph
