There are many articles written on speeding up XP. This is anather article i written for all of you , i hope this is usefull to you.

1. Decrese boot time increase performance of computer use hard drive with high buffer.

2. Ram memory is not less than 512 if more more speed.

3. Ensure that Xp utilising NTFS system.It is very powerfull system.increasing performance of XP.

4. Configure your BIOS properly.

5. Empty Prefetch folder every 2 month. not deaily or weekally.

6. Run disk clean up utility. in 1 month.

7. Hard drive DMA setting must be eneballed.

8. Hard drive cable must be 80 wire ATA 133.

9. Delete spyware amd your in yopur computer.

10. Remove unneccesary programes not in currently use.

11. Press run type msconfig.exe click on startup remove most of the programe you dont want to run at startup.

12. Turn of animation,wallpaper, screensaver on desktop.

13. Edit registry in tweak programe.

14. Update anitivirus software weekly.

15. No. of fonds not exceed than 500.

16. Do not partitioned your hard drive.

17. Check memory with software attention to report.

18. Update cd/dvd drive firmware.

19. Disable unneccesary services for this run sevices.msc .

20. Eneble in folder option "Launch folder windows in a separate process,".
