Which Religion ?
63What is the common thing you can find with every Religion?
I think that Relgion is the Illussionary attempt to find security and happiness in an inhently insecure and unhappy world.
Which Religion took initiation to spread? Here are some analysis about spreading of their religion.
Jesus did not go around places for spreading Christianity. Also, the very fact he embraced the Cross at an young age showed his Love to Lord was far more powerful than trying to stay alive and spread his Religion. It was His disciples who spread his word and founded Christianity.
I think it was good 30-40 years after his cruxification, that St. peter started spreading his Lord's message. Jesus was not much bothered about spreading his religion.
Thus he had the stance shown by Lao Tzu and Ramana Maharishi that what exists Exists and need no explanation.
Budha was populat. Once Osho calling Buddha the most populat spiritual leader of all times and Osho's aim of breaking Buddha's record.
It was Buddha's disciples who went to China and other places and all over India and spread their religion.
Emperor Ashoka had a greater role in spreading the Buddhism in India than Buddha himself.
In a book from the compilation of Osho titled "From medication to Meditation", in that Osho himself says that he has only one answer. People may ask several questions to him. His problem was not finding the answer to their questions. His job was to package that one answer with him in such a way that it appears apt to that question. he continues that he has only one Medicine. people may come to him with several diseases and once again, his job was to give that one medicine to them in a way to accept that.
In whatever way you see, "The Tao that is spoken of is not the eternal Tao" or as Ramana Maharishi says "The Truth cannot be apart from yourself".
One shouldnt give much importance to the popularity.

Most religions in the world are the same in at least one aspect: humans are taught to earn their salvation by their own effort. This is where Christianity differs. Jesus has paid the price to give us salvation, for free. This must be why all religions are tolerated in America, except Christianity.
