Squidwho how hot is it ?

The Squidwho Today's Hot 100 has become a rather interesting list for me lately. I don't believe that it represents whats really good out there as far as Squidwho lenses and their lensmasters. It appears to be dominated by either name-squatters or musical group squatters, although I probably can't officially call them squatters because they do have lenses that meet the minimum requirement to be a lens, but thats all they are is minimal.
Another important variable that emerges is that lensmasters where given a opportunity at the start of Squidwho to convert there old Squidoo lenses about "people" to the new Squidwho format.Good lens or not, this gave many people a lensrank advantage, because lensrank seems to be the largest contributing factor that places lenses in Squidwho's top 100
Just looking through the list kind of gives me a feeling that this is not quite what Squidoo intended, and it's probably not a really good measure of Squidwho's success, at least not yet.
If you were to check out the list for the first time you would say "ahha pretty cool" and browse through the list of lenses. When you come back a week later and "What's Hot Today" is the same Hot List as last week and the week before, etc...with the minor exception of a few new lenses. What this list really has become is just a "not so hot top 100" lenses for Squidwho according to some formula in which lensrank has a lot to do with.I guess it boils down to the definition of "hot".
Don't get me wrong, there are some very fine lenses on display at the Today's Hot 100, by some great lensmasters, but what really puzzles me is that you have a large number of Squidwho lenses about musical groups, and now even television shows in the list. To me these would be Squid"its" not Squidwhos. I really thought Squidoo's new product "Squidwho" was about people, but I guess Squidoo can't make up our minds on that issue right now.
The list is also intertwined with lenses that are essentially just Magicbuild lenses (Magicbuild is Squidoo's automatic lens compiler thingy) with copy and paste descriptions (I'm not talking about the wikipedia module that's included on your magicbuild either). Some are copied verbatim from other very popular music website reviews, others have a few words that have been changed. This is nothing new to Squidoo but listen up, If you can't write a description about the lens subject yourself, fine, then just leave it blank for goodness sake.
Today Squidwho's "Today's Hot 100" sank to an all time low for me when I see a XXX rated lens listed in the Hot 100. Yes it's hot alright, but I don't think it's the kind of hot Squidoo meant. Needless to say, it's not a very good lens by most standards, It lacks any real content - I mean even a porn star has something in their life worth writing about, and it has no star rating at all. It's obvious this lens made it into our Hot 100 only due to it's Lensrank in the Adult xxx content category.
So how do you get a lens listed in Today's Hot 100? Well I now know one way to do it for sure and it has nothing to do with your writing style! Just be able to type XXX.
What's also interesting to note is that about half of the lenses on this list do not use the "People" category when creating their Squidwho lens. Some use the Music category, while others choose Movies and TV, etc.
I started just exploring and have seen quite a few Squidwho lenses that are very good, that provide people with very good original content about the person they are searching for on Squidwho. Well put together and well researched lenses about people, and some have high star ratings. Don't look for too many of them on "Today's Hot 100" because you won't find them there, and I'm beginning to think that might not be such a bad thing after all..
