'Tis the time again for the wearin' of the green -- St. Patrick's Day!

In 2007, when I first began blogging and creating mini-sites on HubPages, I went looking for free St. Patrick's Day clip art but found very little that I liked. So, now that I know how to make clip art in Picnik, I made my own. (Read my Picnik tutorials if you'd like to learn how to make your own clip art and turn photos into clip art.)

The result of my time spent on Picnik is a pretty good cross-section of St. Patrick's Day clip art, which includes Irish flags, an Irishman celebrating with an Irish flag and a beer, leprechauns along with their boots and pipes, shamrocks, four-leaf clovers, green top hats, an old cross and a harp covered in shamrocks, lucky gold coins and pots of gold -- with and without rainbows, green beer and a variety of St. Patrick's Day greetings you can use alone or mix and match with the clip art.

Please scroll down to read the instructions for downloading the free clip art.

Instructions for Downloading the St. Patrick's Day Clip Art

Choose a small thumbnail version of any of the St.Patrick's Day clip art images in the right column. When you click on one of the images, it will appear larger.

IMPORTANT: Once you've chosen an image and see it larger, double-click on the larger image, which will make the best version of the art appear. Sorry for the extra step, but this will give you the highest quality art.

Then, if you have a PC, just right-click and save the final version of the artwork to your hard drive.

Note to Internet Explorer users: You may have to click one more time after following the instructions above. In other words, click on the image that comes up after clicking on the large image.

Please see the usage terms below.

sorry I think it's stupid. i lived in ireland and all they do is drink themselves stupid on st patricks day. (or any other day of the year) and yes, sell some green stuff to visitors. and bash a few heads in if they get the chance.

I'm sure St. Patrick wouldn't approve of that behavior!
