Ways to Handle stress!
- Change is the only certainty of life. Therefore, change your attitude to change, in order to change your distress (negative stress) into eustress (positive stress).
- Reducing your expectations: E (expectations) - A (achievements) = F (frustrations).Therefore, to reduce frustrations : either decrease expectations or increase achievements. It's much easier to reduce expectations. Thus a positive change in your attitude reduces your expectations or increases achievements. This reduces your frustrations and hence, your undercurrent of harmful stress.
- Practise relaxation and meditation which is the best antidote to stress.
- Gain more emotional maturity.
- Higher emotional quotient (EQ) gives you lower stress.
- Develop positive mental attitude.
- Do all those small jobs that give you high degree of personal fulfillment.
- Learn to take better decisions.
- Always maintain high self-esteem.
- Learn to be assertive for your self-respect.
- Train your mind for better time management.
- Manage your priorities.
- Make SMART goals and achieve them.
- Manage your fears by facing them squarely.
- Forgive others and yourself and drop the chains of the past.

- Stress is the body's reaction to any change, whether good or bad. It can be healthy or unhealthy stress.

- Adrenaline's role in fight or flight phenomenon.
- ""It's not important what you eat, It's not important how much you eat. What's important is "What is eating you?"

- The more intelligent you are, the more stressed you usually are.
- No one is immune to stress and stress-caused illness.

Stress can strike anytime and in any place. A good suggestion from a friend of mine is meditation (her suggestion and tips on how to apply meditation could be found here : http://www.siakoi.com/health/stress-killer.html )
Personally, I just do my job before it accumulates, and take time off every now and then. Though, meditation is not so bad an idea :D
