What You'll Learn From This Book

The book starts with an introduction to stretching, emphasizing the importance of flexibility in a person's health and well-being. It also explains how stretching can be used to heal pains as well as help you in aligning and balancing your body. The introduction also defines the different types of stretching that you can do. It also gives a note of caution that outlines the things that you need to watch out for.

The stretches presented in this book are divided into several categories based on the parts being stretched and the purpose of the stretch. The second part of the book focuses on stretches for both the whole body and isolated parts of the body. Part 3, on the other hand, divides different stretches for their purpose. Some are done as a remedy for back pains or joint pains while others are done in order to better a person's performance in a sport. Here, you can also find some stretches for Senior's citizen and a section that can answer women's problems like PMS and menopause. This section also has some stretching exercises that can be done by pregnant mothers.
