If you are reading this you are probably wondering how to remove those ugly stretch marks that you are plagued with.  There are lots of methods of removing stretch marks ranching from expensive laser stretch mark removal therapy a simple and inexpensive at home stretch mark remedy.

We're going to focus on the home baked remedies.  I have no idea if they work but I'm going to compile a list of remedies that I have found on the Internet for you to look over.

I suggest getting your doctors blessing before rubbing these concoctions on your sensitive skin.  I can't imagine most of them doing any damage but it's always better to be safe than sorry.

This stretch mark remedy is a probably one of the most well known.  It's cocoa butter.  Users suggest buying a stick of 100% cocoa butter at the grocery store.  I guess you're just supposed to rub it on like a lotion. 

It's reported to be a bit dry at first and hard to rub in.  Keep gently massaging it onto the area of your skin that has stretch marks.  It will get oily and soak in after a few minutes.

Those who use cocoa butter for stretch mark removal claim it does wonders.  As a matter of fact, many commercial stretch mark creams contain this ingredient.

Use it several times a day and apply liberally.  I've heard that it only costs about a dollar per stick so use as much as you like.

Here's another home made stretch mark remedy.  It's basically a home brewed lotion combined with massage.

Ingredients:

Olive oil, cod liver oil, aloe vera gel, and vitamin E oil.  Mix these ingredients together and pour them in jar or old lotion bottle.

Rub the concoction on your skin several times a day.  The key here is supposed to be the combination of the lotion and deep massage.  Massaging cellulite and stretch marks is reported to be beneficial in breaking up the unsightly tissue and promoting blood blow to the affected area.  The increased blood flow is reported to stimulate new and healthy tissue growth.

This is another home made lotion receptive.  You simply melt cocoa butter and mix in equal parts of vitamin E.

Massage the lotion into the skin several times a day.  Use caution as this is reported to have the potential for staining light colored clothing yellow.

Here's a bit of a strange one. You're supposed to grind coffee grounds up into a very fine powder and mix it with collagen lotion. Rub the mixture into the stretch marks for about a minute and then wipe the coffee grounds away with a warm wet towel.

After the treatment apply a mixture of aloe vera oil, olive oil, cod oil, collagen oil, and vitamin K.

Repeat the procedure twice a day.

The old rolling pin remedy.  This one had to have been passed on from Grandma to Mother to Daughter for many generations.

Apparently, you just take the rolling pin to the affected skin and roll the stretch marks away like working dough.  Of course, any good rolling pin remedy should be finished with a nice lotion rub down.

This remedy cracks me up but who knows, maybe it works.  It's somewhat similar to the popular massage method.

This method is Microdermabrasion. Apparently, you can buy simple at home kits at the drug store.  Do this procedure before bedtime so your body can heal itself during the night.  Use the dermabrasion device for a few minutes on each of your stretch marks.

Apply vitamin E oil after the treatment to sooth the skin and promote faster healing.

Like I mentioned before.  I have no idea if these at home stretch mark remedies work.  They are interesting to read about and I can't imagine them doing any harm.
