Student loans and recession!

In the recession its not easy to know where to apply for student loans? Each of the student who are looking to complete there higher studies are looking to apply for student loans. But most of the banks and institutions have stopped giving the loans due to the recession. Now what the student should do. its obvious they need mone but how can the fulfill their demand of money. Governemet has also narrow down the student loans grants and scholarship opportunities.

Recently sallie mae has also announced that student will need to pay the loans once they finish up the college. its not easy for student to pay the money so early after finishing the college. So what are the option left for the. Government should think about them now what and how student should be benefitted in the time of recession.
