Shoes, shoes, & more shoes!

A woman can never have too many shoes! This is something my mother told me when I was a little girl and I have never forgotten it. The right pair of shoes can make or break an outfit and every time I purchase a new outfit, I always buy shoes to match. There have even been times when I have found a pair of shoes that I loved then bought clothes to match the shoes!

With warmer weather approaching more people are wearing sandals, flip-flops, and dress shoes so it is expected that new fashion trends will emerge during the summer months. 2009 is no exception. From shiny sequins to totally high heels and pretty florals there is sure to be something for everyone.  Here are some of this summer's hottest shoe trends...

Gladiator Sandals

Originally labeled as a must-have during the summer of 2008, the gladiator sandal has finally been dubbed as a wardrobe staple.

What fun! My daughter=in-laws nickname is Imelda, for her love of shoes. I must admit I love them, too, but I am much more picky about fit and comfort over high style these days, lol.
