Samuel Winchester
Sam (Jared Padalecki) was born on 2 May 1983, son of John
Winchester and Mary Winchester in Lawrence, Kansas. He is the youngest
son of the couple having a brother four years older, Dean Winchester.
Sam is different from his older brother, is sensitive, rational,
more innocent, and seemingly more concerned about having a "normal
life" than his brother though, it is clear that he would do anything
for Dean. He also rebels against his father's attempt to transform it
into a hunter and enrolled at Stanford University.
When Dean goes to Sam and asks for help in the first episode,
Sam's girlfriend, Jessica, is presented to viewers. It is clear that
Sam was somewhat popular, though no one knows what his family really
does. The nickname "Sammy" was given to him by his father, though no
one but Dean is allowed to call it that. Sam points out that the
episode of Season 1 "The Bender Family," when a man calls him Sammy, he
angrily replied that his name is Sam. The hunter Gordon Walker also
calls him Sammy the episode "Blood Lust", and Sam, angry, explains that
Dean is the only one who can call it that.
Because of its kind carátel and his desire to have a normal life,
Sam is more careful with women and so have more interest in novels that
Dean, for example, he had with Jessica, Sarah Blake and Madison.
When Sam was six months old (November 02, 1983), his mother was
murdered while he was next to her crib by the demon Azazel. He was
saved by his older brother Dean, while his father tried to save Mary,
who was attached to the ceiling of the room and being consumed by fire,
which eventually spread throughout the house.
Twenty-two years later, Azazel also kills his girlfriend Jessica
in the same way, leading Sam to embark on a journey with his brother to
try to find his father and kill Azazel. While John is gone, he
occasionally comes in contact with their children to give them tasks.
The brothers deal with mythical creatures, urban legends and folklore,
as the Wendigo, the woman in white and Bloody Mary. This time, Sam
begins to show signs of precognition and once again demonstrates powers
of telekinesis.
The final episode of season concludes with Sam, Dean and his
father escaped from a terrible collision with Azazel. While Sam is
driving his father and his brother seriously wounded to a hospital, a
truck driven by a man possessed by a demon collides with them.
Dean Winchester
Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles), born January 24, 1979 in Lawrence is
the eldest son of John and Mary Winchester. Dean was only four years
old when his father saved him from the mysterious fire that killed his
mother. In his memory were the mother's face and the stories his father
told him, and the desire to destroy the creature that took the lives of
his mother.
He was always responsible for the home, while still a child when
his father quit a hunting mysterious, caring for Sam, his younger
brother. So, early on, Dean was active in the construction of the
Winchester family, giving up a normal childhood, being in charge of
family burden and liabilities. Unlike Sam (at the beginning of the
series), Dean always took the family business and he's willing to do
anything to get out the truth about her family, along with Sam, who had
no contact for four years.
In the first episode entitled "Pilot," Dean invades the home of
Sam, who had gone to try to college, and the two leave to seek his
father out for a hunt and even then it's gone. Back, Jessica, Sam's
girlfriend, is killed just as her mother. It is therefore the beginning
of a long journey to Dean and Sam, the roads of the United States and
its surroundings, searching for answers and solutions, following traces
of supernatural creatures, and destroying them. It is the way that both
are to avenge their personal losses caused by the same creature.
Throughout the series, Dean is an icon because of its unique sense
of humor, often sarcastic. The fame of the conqueror is also a
registered trademark of the character. Even posing as a bad boy and
tough way, Dean has a great concern with what was left of his family
and therefore feels responsible for everyone.
In the first season, the two main characters (Dean and Sam) hunt
evil things together. In the second season, Sam takes a more central
role in the series, due to the discovery of his powers "special". It is
the third season, however, that Dean is shown as the center of the
series. The third season revolves mainly around the two seek,
unsuccessfully, to prevent Dean go to hell, and so it is more
centralized in the episodes. The fourth season is just as important for
the two characters, with Sam coming to be more central. And the fifth
season, still in progress, Dean brings a more aware due to recent
events, and the beginning of Revelation, it starts to break even the
first of 66 stamps necessary to deliver Lucifer (when he turns torturer
in hell - the audience they learn in season), and continued for Sam to
break the last seal (the death of Lilith).
John Winchester
John (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), was born in 1954. Since his wife was killed in a supernatural way, he has been looking for the demon that killed her long ago and eventually became a famous hunter by helping people get rid of beings that haunted cities, houses and they killed people. However, it also raised during this time through many enemies. Much of John's past is slowly being revealed (read the comic Supernatural: Origins to learn more) during the series. Unfortunately, as his wife, John dies at the hands of the same demon.
Bobby Singer
Bobby Singer (Jim Beaver) is a professional Demon Hunter. For many
years he was a friend of John Winchester, and now is a kind of
surrogate father of two sons of John, Sam and Dean. It appears when the
kids need it. Always with a vast literature on the supernatural
creatures, spells, exorcisms, objects and valuable contacts to save the
episode! A character surprising that, above all, likes the boys as
children and know them well. In addition to being experienced, Bobby is
also very intelligent. He knows exactly what to do when something goes
wrong, you know examine the situation and know how to manage their
gifts and knowledge. One of the best hunters that are in series, and
one of the best actors too!
[edit] Azazel
The Devil, named in Season or Demon Eye Yellow (Second Temmporada)
and finally Azazel (real name) is one of the main enemies of the
brothers Winchester. Having killed his grandparents - Samuel and Deanna
- (4.03 - In the Beginning), his mother, Mary (1.01 - Pilot) and her
father, John (2.01 - In My Time of Death).
Right at the end of the first season it is revealed that Azazel
had plans for Sam and other children with special psychic powers. After
a battle, Dean is terminally ill and John makes a deal with Azazel to
bring his son back in exchange for himself and John Colt. After the
death of his father, the Winchester brothers are with incubência to
kill the demon and avenge his family, which occurs at the end of the
second season after Azazel gather all the psychic (2.21 - Unleash the
Demons - Part 1) until you get only Sam and Jake Talley, Jake and Sam
kills, forcing Dean to make a pact with the Crossroads Demon to bring
Sam back and the devil gives you only a year to live with his brother.
Azazel gives Colt to Jake that opens the Gates of Hell (2.22 - Unleash
the Demons - Part 2) in a cemetery in Wyoming and releases more than
200 Demons (including Lilith and Alastair, enemies of the 3rd and 4th
seasons) and many spirits . With the help of the spirit of John Dean
can get their hands on the Colt and shoot his 13th and last round
original scapegoat, finally killing the evil villain who terrorized
both the lives of Winchester! In Season is revealed that Azazel did not
want to cause a war between demons and humans, but the Apocalypse,
which is now being carried out by Lilith and releasing the seals that
bind Lucifer. It is also shown that demons had an interest in Sam than
Azazel, as Ruby, Lilith, Alastair, and the Angels Castiel and Uriel
will destroy him if Dean does not make him stop using his powers.
[edit] Bela Talbot
It is a collector of magical artifacts and ancient, which steals
from various sources and sells for a very high cost. Because ambisiosa
Bela (Lauren Cohan) Harms Sam and Dean in the hunt. While in his teens,
Bela makes a deal with a demon to kill his parents because of a
vendetta against his father who was very abusive and her mother that
way and not resorted to any action. His contract with the devil gives
you a great heritage of the death of their parents, but on the other
hand, the devil is in search of its soul in ten years from the date of
the agreement. In the last few episodes of Season Bela steals the Colt
gun brothers hoping to negotiate with the demon (Lilith) and thus
escape from the pact he had made 10 years earlier. Lilith accepts
renogociar but under other conditions. Bela would have to kill Sam, and
trying to eliminate it in the last minutes of his life draws to help
Dean.
[edit] Lilith
Using the body of an innocent and beautiful little girl, Lillith
can be the scariest demon Supernatural / Sobrenatural. Even the
yellow-eyed, responsible for the death of the mother of the brothers
Winchester, can be so awesome. At the end of Season 3, she terrorized
an entire family and was able to get even more scary having the body of
Ruby - well, technically the body that Ruby was having - and she still
came back in Season 4 to haunt the Dean in "Yellow Fever" (episode 06).
At the end of the fourth season is revealed that the last label to
release Lucifer, is the death of Lilith, the case for it to be the
first demon that existed.

Recurrent elements
Colt
The Colt, and the original 13 bullets were made by Samuel Colt for
a hunter in 1835. According to legend, kill everything on the shooting,
including creatures that are normally immune to any weapon. It is also
the key to the gates of Hell. Six of the bullets had been used before
the weapon into the hands of a hunter named Daniel Elkins. While
investigating his sister's mysterious death, meet a group of vampires
who stole the Colt. They exchange it for a vampire that Winchester made
hostage, but some time later, John delivers a scapegoat, in return the
life of Dean, who is dying after a serious car accident. At the end of
the second season, the last bullet is used to kill Azazel (1 bullet was
used by John to kill a vampire, 1 Sam in failed attempt to kill the
demon, one by Dean, when he killed the son and one for Azazel Sam when
shot in the leg of Azazel). After this episode, it is thought that the
weapon is useless. However, Ruby helps Bobby to repair the Colt so you
can use more bullets. Near the end of the third season, Bela steals the
gun to his brothers in hopes of trading it with Lilith and thus escape
from the pact he had made 10 years earlier. Lilith accepts renogociar
but under other conditions. Bela would have to kill Sam. She can not
and whereabouts of the Colt undecided. In the fourth episode (The End)
of the fifth season in 2014, Colt made a cameo appearance, showing that
the gun was not destroyed.
Chevy
The characteristic Chevrolet Impala was given to him by his
father, who bought it in 1973 after Dean, who was sent that year by
Castiel, have you convinced to buy it instead of a Volkswagen VW 1964.
The car has an enrollment of Sedgwick County, Kansas (however,
Lawrence, the birthplace of the brothers is in Douglas County). The
registration number is KAZ 2Y5, a reference to the state where the
Winchester born and the year the series, 2005. From episode 2.20, the
registration becomes Ohio (CNK 80Q3) to help the boys to hide from the
FBI.
The car is one of the most prominent of the series. Once the pilot
episode, the Impala is that John and his children watch the burning
house. The car is the most precious thing that Dean has, and this
protects it with nearly as much passion as his family. In the pilot
episode is also revealed that the trunk contains several types of
weapons that help the brothers to fight the supernatural creatures.
Parents
Despite appearing in a few episodes, the parents of Dean and Sam
have a crucial role in the series. The death of Mary is the reason why
John to become a hunter to kill the demon responsible, coaching their
children on the road. The influence of John Winchester is noticed, even
after his death, since boys always look for information in your
journal. It has also been crossed with hunters who knew his father (as
was mentioned a few times that the Winchester are seen as legends in
the community of hunters). In season Dean learns that his mother was
also a hunter and made a deal with Azazel, which later resulted in his
death and blood of the demon that runs through the veins of Sam.
Knife Ruby
Ruby is in possession of a knife and presumably mysterious magic.
It has been seen and used several times during the 3rd and 4th seasons,
mainly as an instrument to kill demons. When is stabbed in a vital
area, both the demon and the human suffering that this has immediate
death. The demon possessing the human cough violently, as if it were
targeted by Colt. After flickers, but, unlike the case with an
exorcism, not black smoke is expelled from the body, due to the fact
that the demon is dead. However, not as it was created or how to kill
demons were revealed. Compared with the Colt, believed to be able to
kill anything, this knife seems to work only with demons, as you never
mentioned whether this had resulted in other creatures. The only time
it was tried in Angel and was ineffective. Demons with great powers, as
Alastair, do not suffer damage with the knife.
Junk Bobby
Bobby is the owner and manages the scrap Singer, serving sometimes
hiding for the main characters. In the episode "Are you there God?,
It's me, Dean Winchester" reveals that Bobby built a panic room in the
property. With walls made of iron and enhanced with salt and lots of
traps of the devil entered the floor and ceiling, the room is virtually
impossible to accommodate any demon, spirit, and other supernatural
creatures. A panic room is used by Bobby and the brothers several times
throughout the season 4 always in need of a workplace proof of demons.
Problems with the Law
Because they are not paid for work they do as hunters, the
brothers make a living and pay for equipment needed by fraud credit
cards, poker games and billiards. What's more, his investigations lead
us often to resort to illegal options, such as desecration of graves,
imitation of law enforcement and burglary. Dean, accused of murder and
robbery of a bank, was a man much sought after. The brothers are
occasionally chased by several police officers, most notably the FBI
agent, Victor Henrickensen. Due to their status as "wanted", Dean and
Sam use pseudonyms, usually taken from classic rock musicians.
From episode 12 of season 3 of "Terror at the station," Dean and
Sam are considered dead from the blast the police station and prison
County Monument, Colorado. The Winchester brothers were not in the
building, but the pursuit of these FBI eventually assume they were dead.
