Renewable energy is a hot topic in 2009, for home owners, economists and world energy planners. The renewables industry is expected to grow worldwide, with wind tech being the fastest growing product in the sector presently. Solar power systems, like the recognizable black solar panel, are enjoying wider sales, while solar technology development is growing at a rate never seen. The International Energy Agency has referred to energy heating and cooling as being the "sleeping giant" of the global energy market. This is good news in response to needed economic growth and as a sustainable solution to global climate protection. On a personal level, with the economic quaking we're seeing, home owners need to find better options for their home energy needs and are looking for cost saving solutions in the consumer market. Yet in many places, the price tag on systems for home solar and home wind are still fairly high and many consumers are not sure about the reliability of solar and wind technology for homes.

Gaining insight into why renewable energy solutions have become important in our world today ties into understanding why residential solar power and wind power are important to individual homeowners going into the years ahead. If you're interested in solar panels or wind turbines for your home energy needs, you'll also likely have questions about efficiency, specific expenses and if you qualify for rebates or incentives. Solar Home Review provides insight into the renewable energy revolution, offers some solutions and lists resources that will help you evaluate the viability of using renewable power systems to meet your home energy needs.

We also provide consumer relevant news on global energy concerns. Through daily research I find that news reporting is not always consumer relevant. Either you get the market perspective or stark projections through a sobering scientific lens. More often than not stats and projections are sometimes used to get that sensational edge to a news story, rather than inform the public. It makes sense to take the time to consult what's been published by the International Energy Agency, for example.

........to read further about the importance of renewable energy for home owners visit Solar Home Review. Solar Home Review encourages sustainable living through education, providing unique consumer news and product reviews for solar and wind energy solutions for home owners. We are largely an informational service and aim to bridge the gap between world energy news and the average consumer. We like to separate green advertising for the masses, from what really matters to people. Drop by to learn more about sustainable, renewable and affordable energy for your home.

Germany Leads in Renewable Energy Promotion

Pictured above is one of Germany's solar parks. In 2009 Germany is currently the leader in solar use to meet consumer energy demands and leads in the photovoltaic industry. It also stands as the key global leader for the promotion of renewable energy use worldwide and spearheaded the creation of the first agency dedicated to renewable global energy. The International Renewable Energy Agency, or IRENA, held it's first conference in Bonn, Germany January 26, 2009. It aims to be the driving force in facilitating swift government action for implementing renewable energy infrastructure. There wasn't much English media coverage for the initial conference event, but we are bound to hear more about this important agency's activities in the years ahead.
