sweet cookie movie critic: Nick and Nora's Infinite Playlist
62Got to see "Nick and Nora's Infinite Playlist" on a sneak preview which was a really fun film. The movie is about Nick, who is still hung up on his ex-girl friend, and Nora, a girl that Nick's ex knows and like to torment. When both parties head into the city for a great night and meet a great adventure begins.
Michael Cera (Juno, Super Bad) playing the broken Nick is doing what he does best because this character is right up his alley. It is a combination of Paulie Bleeker and Evan but with more relationship experience and backbone to talk back to some one. I almost forgot that hi wears pants that are extremely tight.
Kat Denning (House Bunny, The 40 Year Old Virgin) plays Nora the sarcastic girl to Nick's sad wooh as me mood. Kat Denning is as far as I can see is usually cast in this role as the smart alick that cares. It is as much stretch for her as Nick was for Cera.
Even though this sounds like I didn't like the acting that is not true, because I enjoyed the chemistry that the two actors play off of each other. The acting along with the different situations that occur makes the movie enjoyable. This movie is reminiscent of Can't Hardly Wait, The Breakfast Club and Sixteen Candles. If you are one that likes these type of films this will definitely want to see Nick and Nora. You will laugh, smile and wish you has such a great story to tell people.
My oe suggestion for Parents is not not let you little ones under age 13 go and see this film. For starters I don't think that children should see the film because of language and content that many parents would have to explain or need to talk about later.
