On the first sight of the new swift sedan seemed to be something added to the old swift. But after a while that feeling was nomore . It seemed to be an entirely new car.The shoulder line extends through the door handle to the tail lamp which gives it the new look. The rear doors are made larger. This makes exit and entry from and into the vehicle more free. In the Sedan the C pillar close to the quarter glass is made less wider. This helps the driver to see the back while reversing.

Body dimensions except length is same for sedan as that of the swift.The total length is 4160mm (an increase of 465 mm). The only change in the front is in the front grill. Two chrome bands have been added to the front grill.The vehicle has got enough of boot space which is quiet higher.It has a capacity of 440 Litres.For the hatchback this was only 232 Litres.The tail lamp is same as that of the swift. Turn indicator and reverse lamp are attatched to the tail lamp. The rear bumper has reflectors and an extra break light.

The interior of the sedan is very much similar to the swift. As the wheel base is same as that of the swift, there is no difference in the interior space. Its got a sterio integrated dashboard except for base varient. The top end varient comes with audio controls intgrated to the stearing wheel. Apart from all these the vehicle comes with tiltable stearing which can be tilted to different angles, automatic climate controlled AC which controls the interior temperature with the external temperature.

The new siwft sedan comes with both petrol and diesel engines. Engine is made completely of aluminium.
