In each trip, whether it is for vacation, business or leisure, things and some equipment should always be brought. The hard thing about bringing things during a trip is bringing only those really important. Oftentimes, people bring those things which can be left at home rather than adding up the weight of your luggage. Even though people want to travel lightly, they sometimes find it hard to do this. Especially for girls, this is really hard to do. There are some times that no matter how hard they try to think of which are really important to bring, still they end up bringing a lot. There are some tips of how to achieve this motto.

Try to find a backpack like the Swiss Gear backpack which is light weight. This is better because you won't feel uncomfortable when you load in your stuff. Make sure that there is an extra space in your bag for that additional stuff that you might want to keep along the way.

Find light weight tents and sleeping bags too. These are two of the most important things needed during camping therefore it shouldn't be left out. Make sure that even though these things are light weight, it does not compromise its functionality.

Look for products that are made of Titanium. This metal is lighter than other metals so it is better for camping use. Also, this metal does not wear out easily thus is recommended. Pots and other cookware are usually made of Titanium so people wouldn't have a hard time finding one.

Drink a lot of water during the trip so that you won't get dehydrated. Because water is heavy, it is recommended that you bring enough water during the trip. But if you're sure that there are watering holes on your path, then just bring water that will last until you arrive at the water hole for refilling.

As for the clothes, bring clothes made from cotton because it is light in weight. Try to refrain from bringing denims because they are heavy. Jogging pants are much better. They both cover your legs and protect them but the other one is lighter to bring so lighter is better.

For the shoes, make sure to tuck in the excess lace if you don't want to cut them off. This lessens the risk of the lace being tangled in the bushes during the trip. If the lace gets tangled, you might just hurt yourself. There are still a lot of things that you can do to lessen the weight of your load during the trip. Just try to weigh in your options and alternatives for the things at hand.
