Blog Post Comments Backlinks

As a pro-active webmaster, you should always be looking for good opportunities to get Backlinks. Backlinks being links back to your website from another, using a keyword phrase applicable to your site and those backlinks perform much, much better, if they are one way links.

Reciprocal links used to work, but in 2008, one way and three way links are the only way to go. I suppose I had better tell you what a one way and three way links are.

One way links: are links that come from another site were you are not obligated to link back to them in a two way method.

Three Way Link: is when you link as site A links to site B. Site B links to site C, while site C links back to site A

Google especially, will reward you when you use one way and three way linking straegies on your site/s. Google in it's search for rewarding quality websites with higher rankings, has worked out that anyone can ask someone to link to them, in return for a reciprocal link. However, getting a one way link from another site in most cases meant that if someone was linking to you, it must mean that, that site thinks that your site offered something worthy for thier visitors.

But, as we all know, unless you have something so special and so unique to have a website link to you, you have bucklys chance in getting one way links. That's were I come in.

I have been experimenting using a piece of free software called Fast Blog Finder. I hate the bloody name, but the software is brilliant.

Basically, what the software does is find blogs that allow you to leave post comments. Now this may sound ho hum to you, but just think about it this way.

  • You are able to find blog posts related to your website.
  • You can find blog posts that do not have the "nofollow" tag.
  • Even Google PR can be selected.
  • Simply add a keyword to find 100's of related blogs.

At the moment the software is free, but I don't know for how long and you can upgrade for a small fee to the Gold Edition. I am still only using the free version but I am think very seriously about upgrading.

Now, this software can be used very affectively by spammers. But do not use this tool to spam blogs. We all hate spammers with a passion don't we??

As I said earlier , this software allows you to leave your comments on websites that are related to yours and to get those comments approved by the blog owner is an art form of it's own. Read the blog post and make a comment that either improves the post, or don't bother leaving a comment at all.

I also found an article that goes into detail on how to leave a blog post comment that will get approved every time. You can find the post here 7 Little Known Ways To Get Your Comments Read

To get the most from blog post commenting, you have to do it regularly and do it well. If you could get 30 backlinks to your site using this technique, Google will reward you.
