TARZAN OF THE APES
"Kreegah! sord tarmangani bundolo!" screams an ape, in fear, appealing to Tarzan. Tarzan hears and rushes through the thick foliage swinging from vine to vine until he spots the "sord tarmangani."
He swings onto the branch directly above the "sord tamangani" and grabs the branch as he lets go of the vine. From this point he dives straight at the "sord tarmangani" knocking him to the ground and simultaneously grabbing his firing instrument and throwing it away.
The "sord tarmangani" had aimed his weapon at the ape he was about to "bundolo." He was dealt with, and his instrument of destruction smashed on a rock so that he can no longer "bundolo." These events occur within a very small time frame.

LIFE BEGINS IN THE FOREST
The fictitious Tarzan of the apes was born out of the imagination of master story teller Edgar Rice Burroughs.
Surviving a plane crash when traveling with his parents as an infant, he is picked up by the apes that dwell in the jungle into which the plane crashes.
Tarzan, fed and brought up by the apes, soon grows up.
His primary education begins in the forest. Survival is the main subject.
With the passage of time, he naturally develops all the talent the apes possess and exhibit.
For decades tales woven in the jungle atmosphere involving the ape man has been the interest of thousands and thousands of fans.
Tarzan comics adorn newspapers as well as periodicals, enhancing their value.
Much sought after by all age groups, the adventures of Tarzan have always been and still is of great interest.
The talents developed by the jungle man supported by the environment that nurtured him, are many indeed.
Survival involves and demands much, and to meet such demands nature surely has provision!
The demands for food, clothing, and shelter are easily met and do not cause much concern.
Then comes other issues like, sensing danger, changes in environment and the need for defense.
Logistics also come into the picture. The jungle is a vast area indeed, and man certainly is a social animal!

HE'S HUMAN INDEED!
Traveling has never been a problem for Tarzan. Vines hanging from trees in the thick jungle are utilized to swing on.
Swinging from one vine to another, he lets go when the swinging motion of one reaches its maximum, and grabs another to continue. Leaping from branch to branch was another option.
When on a journey, sometimes Tarzan rides on the back of a lion on simple terrain, or at other times prefers to run.
Clean-shaven and dressed well enough to escape the censor, Tarzan of the apes has a life full of adventure.
Based in the jungle, he gets his share of adventure every day. A champion of justice and peace, his adventures are always interesting. Most of them involve settling disputes.
Disputes arise often between the apes themselves, and occasionally some intruders who want to "bundolo" for ivory and fur.
He speaks and understands the language of the apes. To them he is the "tarmangani" they so fondly brought up. To him the apes are the "manganis" who brought him up."Kreegah!" the apes warn him when he approaches danger.
Tarzan of the apes will always remain one of the greatest characters created by storytellers of this age.

The "sord tarmangani" was about to "bundolo" the ape with his firing instrument. Therefore bundolo means kill! To the apes Tarzan was the "tarmangani" they so fondly brought up, and to him the apes are the "manganis" who brought him up. Therefore tarmangani means human and mangani means ape or monkey. A good tarmangani will not kill, only a "sord" one will. Therefore sord meand bad. As for "kreegah," the apes use this word to warn him when there is danger. It naturally follows that kreegah means beware!
So, the next time you come face to face with an ape, just point your finger at him and say as loud as you can "kreegah! tarmangi bundolo." Then watch him run!
Great videos and great hub quicksand. Keep up the good work.
Thank you Kulsum Mehmood for your comments. :)
