Tattoo Care Peeling Instructions

After you have had your tattoo one of the most common after-effects in tattoo care is peeling.

Immediately after a tattoo it is normal for it to start peeling as the healing takes place. When tattoing takes place you are literally burning the skin around where you are tattoing. So the skin will peel off before any healing takes place.

At this time it can be very itchy and it is recommended that you avoid scratching the tattoo, but in effect just mosturize the skin around and over the tattoo.

Cover the new tattoo with clean bandages for about one hour and then remove them gently wiping with water and then apply an anti-bacterial ointment.

Tattoo care peeling is crucial to assist in healing and should be treated with utmost care.
